Explore the basics with this step by step workshop and get a feel for the fundamentals of Yoga. It is a great way to introduce yourself to the practice of yoga in a non intimidating, fun atmosphere. You will learn basic yoga anatomy, breathing techniques, yoga philosophy, ways to identify what our bodies need and more over the course of one workshop. These classes will help to build a solid foundation for which to grow a practice, be it at home or in our regular studio drop-in classes. Discussion is welcome in this informal class setting and one-on-one attention is given.
On January 17th the focus will be on: Basic breathing practices, foundational standing yoga postures and Yoga “lingo”.
